The Ireland Men's Under-19s fell to a narrow 1-0 loss to England in an International Friendly in St. George's Park.

A single goal from Max Dowman on 70 minutes split the teams following a good contest that was the first in a four-game window for Ireland.

Captained by Ramon Martos, Ireland will take a lot of positives from their performance as they move onto Slovenia for three back-to-back games.
