Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-15s ended their friendly double header with Latvia with another 6-0 win at Home Farm in Whitehall.

Brody Lee, Michael Noonan, Ramon Martos, Sam Rooney, Killian Ryan and Jaden Umeh all found the next with another impressive performance on Irish soil. It followed a 6-0 win at the same venue on Tuesday.

Ireland opened the scoring after four minutes as Lee collected the ball on the edge of the area with his low effort beating Bredijins.

Ireland was to score again just before half time as Noonan latched onto a through ball from midfield with his effort finding the roof of the net with a well-taken strike. Noonan was to turn provider as he set up Martos who found the bottom corner from just inside the Latvian area to score Ireland’s third.

Jason Donohue’s side added a fourth early in the second half as half-time replacements Ryan played an excellent pass to Rooney who fired his shot low into the bottom corner from 18 yards. Ireland went 5-0 up shortly after as Ryan converted an opportunity from close range.

Latvia did have a sight on goal as Ricards Dimpers struck an effort from the edge of the Irish area only for his shot to be blocked by a fellow teammate. After Umeh's initial pass into the Latvian goal area found the Irish player, Mihelsons made a smart save to prevent McDonagh from scoring.

Umeh made it 6-0 when he broke from his own half and continued his run into the Latvian area and finishing it off by scoring a well-placed effort just inside the Latvian area.
