REPORT | BU15 | Netherlands 4-2 Ireland

Ben Lyne scored twice as the Ireland Boys' Under-15s lost 4-2 to Netherlands in a Future Developers Tournament in Uden.

Manchester United forward Lyne netted his first goal on 37 minutes and followed it up with a second finish on 71 minutes to compliment his team's impressive display.

Netherlands, however, proved to be the stronger of the two teams and they showed off their firepower by netting four times in what was the first of three games between the sides.

Ireland will take a lot of positives from this outing with 16 players getting game-time in the first game of the year for this group of players. They executed some neat exchanges of passes, made clever runs and works hard throughout.

Ireland: Tae Gun Lee; Patrick Toth (Tom Casey 55), Robert Morgan, Jamie Jacob; Gearoid Moran, William Carney (Mate Isakadze 60), Journas Jakas; Charlie Bonner, Jack Magill (Destiny Okharadia 55), Ben Lyne (Nathan Power 75); Ronan Keating (Harry Rehill 60).
