What they said

Republic of Ireland U21 Assistant Manager Alan Reynolds: “Montenegro are a good side with a good smattering of players around the pitch. Their striker was up with the seniors and he's joined them here. They certainly have our respect. I expect changes to our team because of the recovery time. Lads haven't played for a few weeks, it's not like we've come in in the middle of season and also from a health and safety perspective to prevent injuries."

Republic of Ireland U21 Forward Evan Ferguson: “I started the game out in Montenegro and it was a hard game and they played a low block. Now with the game at home and the fans behind us you hope it will be a different game. It's one myself and the lads are really looking forward to."
