Saturday’s meeting of the 2026 FAI Women’s Angela Hearst Final will see defending champions Waterford District Women & Schoolgirls League take on the Eastern Women’s Football League in Wexford.

In a repeat of the 2024 Final, the EWFL overcame the WWSL 1-0 on that occasion but the Waterford side bounced back last year and will be looking to earn back-to-back trophies against the team who have lifted the Angela Hearst Cup the most times.

The EWFL booked their place in the final with a dramatic extra time 3-2 win over the Mayo Women’s League while the WWSL also recorded a 3-2 victory over Galway District League.
