Preview | 2026 FAI Amateur Inter-Provincial Tournament

Four provinces will compete for the glory of winning the 2026 FAI Amateur Inter-Provincial Tournament and the honour of representing the nation in the UEFA Regions’ Cup.

Across three days, Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster will send their respective teams out to play each other across five different venues in Donegal with a lot more than a trophy up for grabs.

The winning region will go on to be Ireland’s representative in the 2026/2027 UEFA Regions’ Cup – Europe’s top amateur competition that runs across two rounds of qualifying before leading to an eight-team final tournament in the summer of 2027.

Ireland will be the host nation for their Group B games against Belarus, Croatia and Malta later this year where they would hope to repeat the heroics of the 2015 squad who won the tournament outright on home soil.

The winning team from the FAI Amateur Inter-Provincial Tournament will be confirmed on Sunday, March 22nd on what will be the last day of action which kicks off on Friday, March 20th.
