Four teams will enter this weekend knowing that they are one more step away from reaching the 2024 Sports Direct Women's FAI Cup Final.

Last year's runners-up Shelbourne play host to Cork City on Saturday (September 21st) before holders Athlone Town travel to The Showgrounds on Sunday (September 22nd) to take on Sligo Rovers.

Athlone Town goalkeeper Katie Keane insists that this competition holds a special place in her heart so getting the opportunity to reach another Final is one that she is keen to make the most of.

"It is not so much pressure but pride to try keep that title. It's something that we really look forward to," said Keane, who is fired up for the clash with Sligo Rovers.

Cork City midfielder Orlaith O'Mahony believes her team have a fighting chance in their fixture with Shelbourne and that they will be not be short on motivation going into it.

"Shels away in Tolka Park is always a tough place to go to, but we love a challenge and these games, as players, we want to play in," said O'Mahony, who scored in the quarter-final win over Bohemians.

Both games will be available to watch live on LOITV, while match tickets can be secured from the respective home venue.
