MU15 | Ireland head to Italy for end of season tournament

Italy awaits Jason Donohue’s Republic of Ireland Men’s Under-15s after he named a squad of 22 for the Torneo Delle Nazioni tournament in Udine, Italy next week.

Ireland head to the competition high on confidence having won their last six games and conceding just twice in seven matches.

Their most recent victories came over Latvia in March where they produced two strong performances at Home Farm FC, winning both friendlies 6-0.

Donohue has handed a first Ireland call-up to midfielder Tayo Dunne of U.S Cap d’Ail Monaco. In total, 18 players in the squad are from the EA Sports LOI Academy.

Ireland will face Czechia on Tuesday before taking on Saudi Arabia the following day. They will play a third game on Saturday, April 29 before competing in a final on Monday, May 1 to determine their final position in the competition.
