INTERSPORT Elverys Summer Soccer Schools Camps underway

The 2022 INTERSPORT Elverys FAI Summer Soccer Schools camps got underway this week with over 30,000 kids already booked in to take part.

This year will see 400 camps hosted at 307 clubs nationwide, including specialised camps to cater for Girls Only, Goalkeepers and Football For All.

Brand ambassador and Republic of Ireland WNT international Rianna Jarrett visited her old club, Curracloe United, in Wexford and said: "It's fantastic to be back at my old club to see all of the boys and girls having fun and making friends in the INTERSPORT Elverys FAI Summer Soccer Schools.

"I know how fun these camps are having taking part in them myself and coached on some camps in recent years. They are a brilliant way for kids to get out and play and learn new skills. The camps keep getting bigger and better each years which is fantastic to see..

"I can't recommend these camps enough, they are a way of introducing kids to football and developing as players, but just great fun overall for all kids who get involved."

Catering for boys and girls aged between 6-14 years of age, the camps are run by FAI accredited coaches and will take place all around the country.

No football experience is required as the camps are set up to be fun, interactive but also help to develop new skills.

The camps will run from July 4th through to August 26th at a cost of only €70 - with special offers available for siblings - and each participant receives a full kit, football and backpack.
