Gorey set to travel to Tramore in FAI Junior Cup

Wexford's Gorey Rangers are set to travel Waterford's Tramore AFC in the fifth round of the 2022/23 FAI Junior Cup.

The south-east derby was one of a number of huge ties to be drawn earlier today at FAI HQ by FAI Development Officer Christy McElligott, who won the competition in the 2000-01 season with Ballymun United.

Mayo's Castlebar Celtic face a long trip to Hibernian FC in Waterford whilst Clare's Avenue United will head to Cork to face St. Mary's AFC.

With 43 teams still left in the competition, a number of third and fourth round ties are set to be played across the next two weekends before Christmas, whilst the fifth round is scheduled for the week ending January 22, 2023.
