TRAVEL
The nearest International airport with direct flights from Dublin is Luxembourg Airport. Bus 29 or 223 from Luxembourg Airport to Luxembourg Gare and then the TER train to Metz appears to be the best route via public transport. This train takes less than an hour to reach Metz Station.
The various Paris airports also are an option. The SNCF app will help to book trains to Metz from anywhere in France. If flexible on time, then OUIGO trains can be a much cheaper alternative but options are often limited to one train per day.
STADIUM
The game will be played in the Stade Saint-Symphorien stadium home stadium of FC Metz, 3 Boulevard Saint-Symphorien, Longeville-lès-Metz, Grand Est, 57050, France.
The stadium is located in the south-west of the city on the west bank of the River Moselle. It is a 15 minute walk from the main railway station. It is also reached by Bus 11 (every 30 minutes) runs from rue François de Curel opposite Metz station to Palais des Sports (journey time 12mins, direction Félix Maréchal), via the central hub of République.
