FAI to honour all Ireland WNT players at Aviva Stadium

Every player who has represented the Ireland Women's National Senior Team will be invited to the Aviva Stadium for the UEFA Nations League opener against Northern Ireland on Saturday, September 23.

As part of the 50-year anniversary celebrations of the WNT, the Football Association of Ireland will honour every player to have featured for the Women's Senior Team since 1973 through to the current day.

It was previously announced that every player who featured for the senior team in an official game will receive a one-off commemorative cap that will feature a unique 50-Year crest. Now, they will also be invited to the Aviva Stadium for this historic occasion.

Now, every player will receive two tickets to attend the Group B1 clash with Northern Ireland in what will be the first game for the WNT since competing at FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.

Any player who represented the Ireland Women’s National Team at senior level in an official game since 1973 can contact the FAI before the deadline of Monday, September 11 at 12pm by emailing the below details to [email protected]

NOTE

  • A maximum of two tickets will be made available to each WNT player in a designated block within the Aviva Stadium
  • This offer is solely for any player who featured for the Ireland Women's National Team at senior level
  • Applications made after the deadline of 12pm on Monday, September 11 cannot be processed
  • Successful applicants will receive their tickets digitally, which is why a working email address is required
