Overview of Club Licensing

The FAI Club Licensing Department is staffed by Head of Licensing Bracey Daniels and Cian McDonald Licensing Manager. The Department appoints a number of Club Auditors with expertise and responsibilities for specific types of criteria. The Criteria includes Sporting, Infrastructure, Football & Social Responsibility, Personnel & Administration, Legal and Financial. The Department will also appoint administrative support staff, as necessary.

Bracey Daniels

Bracey Daniels has over 50 years’ experience within football and 30+ years in law enforcement. Bracey began his role as Club Licensing Manager in November 2016 and has been Head of Licensing since June 2022.

Cian McDonald

Cian McDonald has 10 years’ experience working within the football industry. Cian also studied in the United States where he both played and coached at the Division I level. Cian began his role as Club Licensing Assistant in October 2019 and is currently in the role of Club Licensing Manager.
