Assistant Coach – Ireland Women’s National Team

The Football Association of Ireland is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Coach – Ireland Women’s National Team. Reporting to the Head Coach, this role will support the preparation and performance of the national team, with a strong focus on elite player development and qualification for major international tournaments.

Working closely with players, performance staff, and key FAI departments, the Assistant Coach will lead high-quality on-pitch sessions, contribute to tactical planning and match preparation, and support the integration of emerging talent through the FAI’s player pathway.

We are seeking candidates with a UEFA A Licence (UEFA Pro Licence desirable), proven experience coaching elite players, and a strong understanding of the women’s game at domestic and international levels. A high-performance mindset, excellent communication skills, and flexibility to travel during international windows are essential.
