The Football Association of Ireland today (May 16) confirmed that Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland will play Cesare Prandelli's Italy in a friendly match in Liege, Belgium on June 7 at 20.45hrs (19.45hrs - Irish time). The friendly will be played at Standard Liege's home ground, Stade Maurice Dufrasne.

The match will follow the Euro 2012 qualifier in Macedonia on June 4.
