Ticket price reductions for opening Carling Nations Cup ties

The Football Association of Ireland today (Jan 7) announced that tickets for the forthcoming Carling Nations Cup match against Wales in Aviva Stadium on February 8 will go on sale on Monday through www.ticketmaster.ie and the FAI Umbro stores in Carrolls Westmoreland St and Suffolk St, Dublin.

The FAI will make an initial interim reduction to all general admission ticket prices of between 9 and 12.5% for the opening Carling Nations Cup match against Wales on February 8 and more reductions will follow for subsequent matches in 2011 once consultation with affiliates is complete. Consultations with affiliates nationwide about new pricing structures for general admission tickets were disrupted because of the bad weather in December and have been continuing this month.
