After impressing in Home-Based Training Sessions and making the breakthrough with Shelbourne in the Women's National League, Abbie got her first senior call-up for the Pinatar Cup in February 2022.

The Dubliner should have been with the Ireland Women's Under17s, where she is captain, but was promoted through the ranks by WNT Manager Vera Pauw.

Abbie made an impressive debut in the 1-0 loss to Russia and then appeared as a substitute in the victory over Wales.

She scored her first senior goal in the 9-0 away win over Georgia in June 2022.
