Hailing from Balbriggan in County Dublin, Emily was identified as a talented player from an early age and broke through from Shelbourne's academy.

The lightning fast attacker quickly scaled the international ladder up to senior level, where she made her WNT debut against Poland in October 2018.

Emily made her first competitive start away to Greece in a EURO 2022 qualifier in November 2019.
