It was a year of change for the Republic of Ireland Women's Under-16s with Tom Elmes taking over as Head Coach and setting a new direction.

Across four games, the team scored seven goals and recorded one clean sheet with 33 players seeing game-time overall.

There were two games in Waterford against England before they travelled to Newport for back-to-back games against Wales later in the year.

Before the Christmas break, Elmes also got to see the team in a behind-closed-doors outing against Northern Ireland.
