Goalkeeper - Manchester City

Born: 27/10/1994.

Played all three games in the qualifying round in September. The former Home Farm goalkeeper has made steady progress with Man City.

Danny Rogers

Goalkeeper - Aberdeen

Born: 23/03/1994.

Back up to Lawlor in the first phase. He has been progressing well at Aberdeen. He previously played for Cherry Orchard. Born in New York.

Steven Smith

Defender - Leicester City

Born: 19/04/1994.

Talented left-back who started his career with Arsenal. Played against Germany in the qualifying round. Has been capped since U16 level.

Noe Baba

Defender - Fulham

Born: 08/08/1996.

CAMEROON-born Noe captained the U17s in their UEFA Championships qualifying round matches in October then promptly stepped up to help the U19 side take the same step in their qualifying campaign. Noe emerged with Mayo side Castlebar Celtic and was linked with many clubs before opting to join Fulham in January 2013.

Thomas Hoban

Defender - Watford

Born: 24/01/1994.

Captained the U19s to victories over Luxembourg and FYR Macedonia in the qualifying round. He was born in Walthamstow and played with Arsenal at schoolboy level.

Pierce Sweeney

Defender - Reading

Born: 11/09/1994.

Strong centre-back who emerged with Belvedere then starred in the Airtricity League for Bray Wanderers. Schools international last year and moved to Reading in the summer.

Jason Keane

Defender - Waterford United

Born: 03/04/1994.

JASON is a talented defender who has made the first team breakthrough at Waterford United and also impressed with the Blues in the Airtricity League U19 division. He made his debut at right-back against the Czech Republic in February 2013. Can also play in midfield.

Ryan McConnell

Defender - Manchester United

Born: 3/10/1995.

Letterkenny native McConnell has made good progress at Old Trafford after joining from Glencar Celtic. The full-back has been capped at U16 and U17 level for Ireland.

Shane Griffin

Defender - Reading

Born: 08/09/1994.

Played all three games in the qualifying round. The Cork native emerged with Carrigaline United and has played for Ireland since U16 level.

Bradley Garmston

Defender/Midfielder - West Bromwich Albion

Born: 18/01/1994.

Played all three games in the qualifying round. Bradley can play on the left wing or left-back. Chorley-born Garmston was rated as the second fastest 100m & 200m runner in the UK for his age and his mother is former Commonwealth gold medal winner Sonia Lannaman who also competed at 100m & 200m during her highly successful sprinting career.

Darragh Lenihan

Midfielder - Blackburn Rovers

Born: 16/03/94.

Former Belvedere schoolboy, he captained Ireland at U16 level. A stress fracture to the back delayed the start to his Blackburn career but he has since return to full fitness.

Luke Gallagher

Midfielder - Burnley FC

Born: 29/07/1994.

Played all three games in the qualifying round. The former Cherry Orchard midfielder has been with the Clarets since 2011.

Kenneth McEvoy

Midfielder - Tottenham Hotspur

Born: 4/09/1994.

Missed the qualifying round through injury but the Waterford native has since returned to form with Tottenham, where he has been likened to first team star Gareth Bale. Emerged with the Villa club in Waterford.

Brandon Miele

Midfielder - Newcastle United

Born: 28/08/1994.

Played all three games in the qualifying round. Signed for the Magpies from Cherry Orchard.

Ryan Coombes

Midfielder - Athlone Town

Born: 30/01/1994.

Featured twice in the qualifying round, scoring against Germany. He has recently agreed a loan switch to Athlone Town after emerging with St Patrick's Athletic in the Airtricity U19 League.

Adam Evans

Midfielder - Burnley FC

Born: 03/05/94.

Winger who signed for Burnley from Belvedere. A left-sided player who helped the Clarets reach the last four of the FA Youth Cup in 2012 and has recently had a loan spell at Droylsden.

Kieran Sadlier

Forward - West Ham United

Born: 14/09/1994.

Creative midfielder who played all three games in the qualifying round. Can play up front or out wide. He emerged at Cambridge United but has been with West Ham since he was 11.

Kealan Dillon

Midfielder - Hull City FC

Born: 21/02/1994.

Forward who played all three games in the qualifying round. Previously with Athboy Celtic and Belvedere FC. Can also play in midfield. Also had a spell with Derby County.

Michael Drennan

Forward - Aston Villa

Born: 02/02/1994.

Kilkenny native who played all three games in the qualifying round and scored four times, including a hat-trick against Luxembourg. Drennan broke through with Evergreen in his native county.

Sam Byrne

Striker - Manchester United

Born: 23/07/1995.

Played all three games in the qualifying round, scoring twice. Sam signed for the Red Devils from St Joseph's Boys and has been capped by Ireland since U15 level.

Sean Maguire

Forward - West Ham United

Born: 01/05/1994.

Recently awarded the schools international player of the year, Sean was born in Luton but grew up in Kilkenny. He made the breakthrough at Waterford United and scored 14 goals in 32 games for the Blyues. He signed for West Ham in January.

Paul George

Forward - Celtic FC

Born: 27/01/1994.

The Belfast-born striker has been unfortunate with injuries in recent times. He made his first team debut for Celtic in the League Cup but is only getting back to his best in recent months. Previously capped at underage level by Northern Ireland.

Paul Doolin

Head Coach

PAUL DOOLIN (born 26 March 1963, Dublin) is a former Olympic international who has an illustrious playing career with Bohemians, Shamrock Rovers, Shelbourne and Portadown before becoming player-manager of UCD.

He went on to become manager of Drogheda United, who he led to league, FAI Ford Cup and Setanta Sports Cup success.

He was appointed Republic of Ireland youth team manager in 2010 and led Ireland to the UEFA U19 Championships semi-finals in 2011.
