Stephen Kenny's side will look to make it two wins in two matches in the group on Friday, September 6 with kick-off at 8pm at Tallaght Stadium.

Ireland U-21s enjoyed an impressive summer having finished fourth in the prestigious Maurice Revello Toulon Tournament. Ireland finished top of Group C with victories over China U-23, Bahrain U-23 and a draw against Mexico U-23.

In the semi-finals, Ireland suffered defeat against the eventual winners Brazil, and finished fourth after a penalty shoot-out defeat against Mexico in the 3rd/4th place play-off. It was the highest placed finish Ireland had ever achieved at the tournament despite being one of the youngest teams.

Ireland return to action in the UEFA European Championships qualifying round against Armenia top of Group One after their impressive 3-0 victory over Luxembourg in the opening match, in front of over 4,300 at Tallaght Stadium.
