Republic of Ireland Under-17 Head Coach John Morling has named his squad to face Italy next week in a double-header friendly.

 

The pair of games, on February 8 in Casarano and two days later in Nardò, will act as final preparation for the UEFA Elite phase qualifiers in Greece from 23-28 March when Ireland meet Denmark, Latvia and Greece trying to progress into the European Championship finals later in the year.

 

Morling has made a number of changes to the squad which qualified from their UEFA first phase in Malta last September in a bid to expand his options for next month's Elite stage.
