Two games in Portugal next up for WU16s

The Republic of Ireland Women's Under-16s will get to test themselves against elite opposition at the end of January in two international friendly games against Portugal.
18th Jan 2022

The games will be played on January 24th and 26th in Beja, where Ireland will come up against a talented Portugal team.

Head Coach Tom Elmes has been able to call on several players who have already featured at Under-17 level, including Cork City's Grace Flanagan (pictured above).

The attacking duo of Lia O'Leary and Joy Ralph enjoyed excellent years in 2021, both scoring notable goals in an Ireland jersey, and will be hoping to maintain that momentum.
