Reading FC have confirmed on Monday a bid from Hull City for Stephen Hunt has been accepted.

The Republic of Ireland winger is now expected to discuss personal terms and complete a medical to finalise his move to the KC Stadium.

Hunt was a revelation for the Royals in their two Premier League campaigns until they were relegated to the Championship in May 2008 and the Irishman looks set to ply his trade again in the top-flight for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Republic of Ireland U21 international Jay O'Shea has completed his transfer from Galway United to Birmingham City.
