McGeady returns to action
Aiden McGeady has made his comeback from injury in Celtic's Europa League tie on Thursday when he played for 81 minutes against Rapid Vienna.
McGeady's sustained an ankle injury last week in a Cup tie at Falkirk but has made a sooner than expected recovery and his presence in the Bhoys' line-up is good news for Irish fans ten days before the crucial World Cup qualifier at Croke Park on Saturday week, October 10.
Celtic conceded early against the Australians but responded well to equalise and McGeady looked fit and well in his comeback game. He was withdrawn from the action nine minutes from time.
