Noel King's side currently sit in third place in the group 6 table, three points behind Russia following their weekend victory over Kazakhstan and level with Switzerland but both teams do have a game in hand.

Speaking ahead of the game, Noel King urged his side to continue their recent form which has seen the young side get back into contention in group 6, "Obviously every game in this campaign is important but this is the one which we have been waiting for with great anticipation for quite some time. Switzerland are often underestimated on the international stage but they are one of the rising stars of international football, both in the men's and women's game. While we will be giving them every respect as a team, we will be going out to win and hopefully secure at least second place in the group," he said.

"The girls have now been in the camp since St. Patrick's Day prior to our game in Tel Aviv, which is an incredibly long time. Since that game, all they have seen is the dining table, the training pitch and their bedrooms - the feeling among the squad is that they are chomping at the bit, eager to gain revenge for their 2-0 defeat against Switzerland last September," said King.
