Recently appointed Republic of Ireland head coach, Noel King, today (Wednesday July 28) announced an 18 man squad who will play Estonia in a European Championship qualifier on August 10 in Tallaght stadium (kick off 19.30).

Under 19 stars, Aaron Doran, Conor Hourihane, Rob Kiernan and Joe Mason have been called into this age category for the first time.

Republic of Ireland head coach, Noel King said, "I am really looking forward to the upcoming UEFA Championship qualifier against Estonia who will be a tough outfit to beat following some significant results in the campaign to date, most recently, their victory against second placed Turkey last May."

"I am very satisfied with the quality of the players who I have been able to call-up to the squad for this important qualifying game as I think that it is of upmost importance for the players to get some positive results for the team before the end of this campaign."

"Included in the squad are a core group of talented players who have the experience of playing at this level while we have also drafted in a number of very capable young players which I believe will give us a good balance between being competitive in this fixture while also giving some of our younger players the experience that they need at this level."
