TOM Mohan's Republic of Ireland U17 side will face Malta in the second game of their mini-tournament in Hungary tomorrow afternoon (4.30pm).

The Irish go into the clash in Telki looking to bounce back from their unfortunate 1-0 loss to Hungary on Tuesday when the Irish created numerous chances but failed to make them count.

Mohan is not focusing on results this week and will make seven changes to his starting line-up against the Maltese, who lost 1-0 to Serbia in their opening fixture.

"Everybody is good. There's a few blisters but nothing major. Everybody is in good form. We'll make a number of changes to give everybody an opportunity and give lads the chance to impress," said Mohan.

"Malta only lost 1-0 to a late Serbian winner so will provide a decent opposition. They were well-organised and hard to break down. They caused Serbia a bit of trouble on the break.

"The lads are chomping at the bit to go and perform and we've been very pleased with the attitude since coming together at the weekend."
