Ireland U21 International Patrick Cregg moves to Hibs
Scottish Premier League side Hibernian FC today announced the signing of Republic of Ireland Under-21 International midfielder Patrick Cregg.
Cregg will link up with recently appointed Hibs manager John Hughes, under whom he flourished during his spell at SPL rivals Falkirk after joining from Arsenal in 2006.
The 23-year old is Hughes' first signing since taking charge at Easter Road with the manager hailing the capture of the Dubliner.
"Patrick loves getting on the ball and has loads of energy," he told the club's official website. "He's just the sort of player I want at the Club. He has his best years in front of him and will thrive on the big stage at Easter Road."
Cregg commented on his new challenge by stating: "I loved working with the gaffer at Falkirk, so to be joining him at a Club the size of Hibernian is a great opportunity for me. I'm very excited about pre-season and can't wait to start work at the training centre this week with the rest of the boys."
