Thomond Park Prepares for Trap's army

Thomond Park's preparations for the hosting of the Republic of Ireland versus Australia friendly International on August 12th have taken a major step forward with the delivery of the goalposts ahead of the historic tie.

The iconic venue is steeped in rugby history and has seen some of the greatest moments in Irish sport but the sight of the soccer goalposts at either end of the pitch is a new experience for Munster's famed 'Red Army.'

Ireland's soccer supporters are renowned for bringing the best atmosphere to venues all around the world and it promises to be a famous occasion in Limerick when the Irish team takes to the field at 7.30pm.
