Cyprus name 23-man squad
Cyprus manager Angelos Anastasiadis has unveiled his squad for the upcoming 2010 World Cup qualifiers against the Republic of Ireland and Montenegro.
The Cypriots will host Ireland at the GSP Stadium in Nicosia on Saturday, 5 September before visiting Podgorica on Wednesday, 9 September to take on Montenegro.
Ireland took the points in the corresponding fixture between the nations at Croke Park last October when Robbie Keane supplied the only goal of the game.
With four matches to play in their qualification campaign, Cyrpus sit in fourth place of the Group 8 table on five points.
