Republic of Ireland manager, Giovanni Trapattoni has called CSKA Sofia striker, Cillian Sheridan, into to the Ireland squad who will face Armenia and Andorra in their opening Group B EURO 2012 qualifiers.

Republic of Ireland manager, Giovanni Trapattoni has called CSKA Sofia striker, Cillian Sheridan, into to the Ireland squad who will face Armenia and Andorra in their opening Group B EURO 2012 qualifiers.
Sheridan will report for duty on Sunday, August 29 and will train with the squad in Malahide before travelling to Yerevan, Armenia on Wednesday September 1. The Republic of Ireland face Armenia on Friday September 3 (kick off 8.00pm local time) and return home to play their first competitive game in Aviva stadium on September 7 (kick off 7.45pm)
