Sensational Ireland qualify for the play-offs
Wales 0-1 Republic of Ireland

9th Oct 2017
Ireland produced a sensational performance in Cardiff to beat Wales 1-0. In a tight and tense affair, James McClean's 57th minute strike earned Ireland a famous three points.
The goal came following a fantastic run down the wing by Jeff Hendrick. He got to the endline, whipped an inviting ball into the area. Harry Arter produced a clever stepover to leave James McClean free to bury it past Wayne Hennessey.
Ireland withstood a Welsh onslaught, with Man of the Match Shane Duffy putting in a towering performance.
Martin O'Neill's side now await their fate in the play-off draw.
