Shels proved too strong for St.Catherine’s with a second half blitz that saw the FAI Women's Senior Cup semi-finalists to an emphatic victory.

Shianne Swares gave Shels the lead after eight minutes, Catherines keeper Sara Kechkar couldn’t hold Emma Chamberlain’s cross leaving Swares to tap home.

Murphy got her first of the night on 23 minutes, racing onto the ball just ahead of Kechar and finishing into an empty net.

Both Catherines and Shels hit the post before the break with Ealish Murray unlucky for Catherines and the woodwork denying Swares her second.

The game spun totally into Shelbourne’s favour 10 minutes into the second half, Lisa Murphy won the ball from Amy Keating with Kechkar unable to prevent Murphy’s second.

Murphy grabbed her hat-trick on 59 minutes, flicking the ball over Amy McLoughlin before calmly sliding the ball home.

Murphy brought her tally for the night to four on 65 minutes finishing off Chamberlian’s corner, before rounding off the scoring on 68 minutes, Kechkar unable to hold Murphy’s long range drive.
