Rathangan FC earn FAI Club Mark

Kildare's Rathangan FC are the latest club to complete the FAI Club Mark Entry Level award.
4th May 2021

Established in 1994, the club caters for almost 300 players spread over 18 teams ranging from Under-8 to Under-18 (boys and girls) and three senior teams, consisting of a women's team, an over 35's and a senior men’s team. They also have a thriving academy for boys and girls aged between 4 and 7.

Over the last number of years, the club has invested heavily in upgrading our grounds. They now have two high quality grass pitches, a floodlit walking track which is open to the community and a clubhouse with four changing rooms and toilet facilities.

On the pitch they have also been successful winning over 10 trophies in the last five years.

As a club, Rathangan FC are extremely proud of all their achievements. The most notable of these being the development of a community club ethos where there are multiple teams of boys and girls of all ages. The club has the infrastructure and support network to continue to grow and flourish for the next generation of football players.

Everyone at Rathangan FC wish to thank their loyal supporters, club sponsors and the local community who have supported the club over the years and the generosity at fundraising events making the development of the club possible.
