Karen Campion appointed Business Partnerships & Strategy Director
Karen brings a wealth of knowledge to the role, with over 13 years' experience with the Association in various roles.
As an accountant, Karen has a strong Finance background as well as people, project and stakeholder management experience attained following her move to Head of Business Partnerships and Strategy in May 2017.
Karen will continue to manage all non-commercial income streams from application through to the compliance, regulatory and reporting requirements of the Association. She will also continue to lead the Association's strategic planning process.
"I am delighted to be appointed as Director of Business Partnerships & Strategy, a fantastic start to 2019. I would like to thank the football family and various stakeholders who have partnered with me over the past 13 years for their support, commitment and solid working relationships that we have built over my time with the FAI," said Campion.
"I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and the opportunities that the role continues to present."
FAI CEO John Delaney welcomed Karen's appointment by stating: "Karen deserves this recognition as she brings her experience, energy and enthusiasm to this role.
"Karen’s promotion to Director level was a natural progression. Karen is the second female in the past year to be appointed Director, she joins Rea Walshe, Corporate Affairs and Licensing Director at this level.
