As the tournament heads into its 34th year, 20 teams from nine different countries will visit Dublin in the hope of being crowned as champions.

FAI CEO John Delaney gave his backing to the tournament, which returns to Dublin for the third time and will see the games played between June 15-17.

"The European Airports Football Championship represents an incredible opportunity to see a truly international event hosted on home soil," said Delaney, who is pictured above with (l to r) Christy Sheridan, Chairman Dublin Airport Football Club, Siobhan O'Donnell, External Communications Manager Dublin Airport, Noel King, Republic of Ireland Under 21 Head Coach, Joseph Malone, Football Tournament Director.

"On behalf of the FAI, we support this footballing initiative. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the Dublin Airport Football Club the very best for the forthcoming tournament in June."
