Corduff FC earn the FAI Club Mark

Blanchardstown's Corduff FC have become the latest club to earn the FAI Club Mark Entry Level Award.
4th Nov 2020

The closest club geographically to FAI HQ, Corduff FC was established in 1976 and is based out of Corduff Sports Centre. The club operates for the local area and services the greater Blanchardstown area.

The club has grown from 2 teams in 2000 to over 30 teams today. Keeping children off the street and away from antisocial behaviour has always been the club's number one achievement for many decades but they have had success on the pitch also, winning a number of provincial titles as well as contesting an SFAI All-Ireland Final with a squad of players all living within one kilometre of the club.

The club also boast a number of players who have gone on to play at League of Ireland level, as well as England and the most recent player of note is Yassine En Neyah, a 19-year-old currently playing for Nottingham forest.

The club now consists of 30 teams and over 450 members contesting football within the DDSL and LSL.

Corduff FC are always mindful to thank its volunteers, its ever growing sponsors and Fingal County Council who assist in their every need to allow us to operate with so many teams, using the best of facilities.

The FAI Club Mark is free and optional for clubs and aims to:

•          Improve the management of clubs ‘off the field’
