2019 FAI Coach Education Conference launched
The feedback from last year's Conference was extremely positive with guest speakers including Jim McGuinness, Dany Ryser, Collie O'Neill, Dr Seamus Murphy, Michael Beale, Sarah Murray, and Colin Bell, while there was an excellent practical session put on by Republic of Ireland Under-21 assistant Jim Crawford.
There were 22 different counties represented from over 200 attendees, who included many current and former SSE Airtricity League managers, and several UEFA Pro Licence holders. The Conference mixed between theory and practical sessions, a Q&A with international head coaches, and there was also a graduation ceremony for 28 coaches who achieved the UEFA Elite Youth A Licence.
This year's Conference, which will be the third in a row, will see multiple theoretical and practical presentations from world renowned guest speakers from Ireland and overseas - who will be confirmed over the coming weeks.
This event can be used for Grassroots and Licence CPD (Continous Professional Development). Please note that in accordance with the UEFA Convention 15 hours of UEFA Accredited CPD must be completely every three years in order to keep your UEFA Coaching Licence valid.
