2019 FAI National Draw

Terms and Conditions for Participating Clubs

  1. Participation in the FAI National Draw 2019 is open to all current affiliated clubs, schools, leagues and supporters clubs (herby referred to as “Clubs”).
  2. Tickets will be purchased from the FAI for €1.50 each and sold by the participating Clubs for €10 each; no ticket can be sold at any other price. Tickets cannot be discounted or sold in bundles at a special rate.
  3. In order to take part in this draw participating Clubs must order a minimum of 20 tickets – there will be no upper limit to the number of tickets that participating clubs can order and sell.
  4. All proceeds from the ticket sales must be collected by the Club and a reconciliation statement together with the ticket stubs must be provided to the FAI by the 25th November 2019. All unsold tickets must also be returned to the FAI at this time.
  5. No refund will be provided for unsold tickets.
  6. Tickets cannot be purchased by Clubs themselves and entered into the draw on their behalf.
  7. Once participating Clubs have confirmed their agreement to the Terms and Conditions they can commence selling of tickets from the 19th June 2019.
  8. All ticket sales must be completed and all Ticket Stubs and unsold Tickets must be returned by 25th November 2019 in order to be included in the Regional and National Draws. They should be sent to: FAI National Draw, Football Association of Ireland, National Sports Campus, Abbotstown, Dublin 15.
  9. The FAI is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected ticket entries, or entries not received by the FAI for any reason.

Local Club Draws

  1. Clubs that order 100 tickets or more will receive prizes for a local draw. This draw is only open to those individuals who bought tickets from that club
  2. Once tickets orders close on 8th November 2019 clubs draw prizes will be sent to each club
  3. Clubs must undertake their club draw no later than 15th November 2019
  4. Clubs have the option of adding extra prizes to their club draw themselves if they wish.
  5. Referee Beginners Course places are based on course availability within the region, winners are able to attend other regions if it’s requested.

Terms and Conditions for Ticket Purchasers

  1. Ticket entries must be completed fully with the name, phone number and email address of the ticket buyer.
  2. The FAI may use the contact information you provide to communicate with you regarding the Draw, prize winners and other FAI initiatives. The FAI will not provide your contact data to any third party and will manage it in line with the FAI’s data protection policy.
  3. The FAI reserves the right to replace any prize with another prize of equivalent or greater value.
  4. All ticket sales must be completed and all Ticket Stubs must be returned to the FAI by 25th November 2019. They should be sent to: FAI National Draw, Football Association of Ireland, National Sports Campus, Abbotstown, Dublin 15”.
  5. No cash alternative will be awarded in lieu of stated prize(s).
  6. The draw will take place on 5th December 2019 in Aviva Stadium.
  7. The draw is open to all persons aged 16 or over.
  8. All entries are the property of the FAI and will not be returned.
  9. The FAI is not responsible or liable for any late, lost or misdirected ticket entries, or entries not received by the FAI for any reason.
  10. Incomplete or illegible entries will be invalid and not included in the draw.
  11. An individual can purchase as many tickets as they wish for the draw. Each entry will only be valid until the draw has been completed.
  12. The winners will be contacted directly following the draw on 5th November 2019 via the contact details they have supplied when entering the draw. It is a matter for the entrants to ensure that they have supplied the correct contact details. The FAI shall not in any way be held responsible in the event of incorrect details being supplied on ticket entries.
  13. The winners will be announced on the official website and Facebook page of the FAI and acceptance of the prize constitutes agreement by the winner that their name can be announced in connection with this draw and photos may be published. Winners names may also be used in future media promotions.
  14. Please note that a ticket entry is a legally binding contract and cannot be withdrawn.
  15. The decision regarding the prize winners shall be final and no correspondence shall be entered into in relation to same.
  16. In the event of any dispute regarding the Draw the decision of the FAI will be final.
  17. By taking part in the draw, entrants are deemed to have read, understood and accepted all of the Terms and Conditions and agreed to be bound by them.
  18. The FAI is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the winner or any other person with whom the winner shares or gives the prize.
  19. The promoter of this draw is FAI, National Sports Campus, Abbotstown, Dublin 15. You can contact the Promoter in relation to the draw by mail to this address.
  20. The FAI reserves the right to verify, at any time during or after the closing of the draw, the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process.
  21. The FAI will endeavour to contact draw winners for up to one week from the date of the draw. If repeat efforts to contact a winner are unsuccessful and contact cannot be made within two weeks then the prize(s) will revert to the club that sold the ticket for use at its discretion.
  22. FAI staff are not entitled to participate in this Draw.
