You must have successfully completed the Safeguarding 1 course, be Garda Vetted and completed the UEFA B Licence course and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience coaching at this level.

Course Learning Outcomes:
The course is designed to assist coaches in the preparation, development and consolidation of the player’s / teams technical, tactical, mental and physical development. Participants will acquire the ability to plan, organise and implement “reality based” coaching sessions whilst developing coaching competence through knowledge transfer from course curriculum tasks/ assignments to practical situations and sessions.
Coaches will develop tactical and positional skills, whilst concentrating on specific units of the team. Coaches will develop sound match analysis skills in order to ascertain and justify appropriate training sessions to optimise football preparation for a performance plan. You will learn to implement and review “reality based” sessions in a safe, friendly and rewarding environment, coaches will design and develop “reality based” training sessions after specific analysis of the team, units & individual players.
