FAI Soccer Sisters has been one of the driving forces behind the increase in numbers in participation of grassroots soccer in girls over the past 5 years.
Soccer Sisters is an FAI Programme created under the "Introduction to Football" banner, the aim of increasing the number of girls playing soccer and utilising facilities countrywide.
It is also designed to attract new volunteers into soccer, i.e. parents and guardians who it is then hoped may get involved in the game in some capactiy
Played at venues countrywide girls aged 7-12years can learn to play soccer in a fun, friendly and safe environment.
The children will be introduced to basic movement and soccer skills. They will learn the disciplines and fundamental rules of the game and will also be encouraged to forge new friendships and develop interpersonal skills.
WHY GET INVOLVED?
All girls should have equal opportunity to get involved in football. Soccer sisters provides this opportunity. As girls soccer continues to grow each year, more and more clubs have developed new teams as a result of being involved in the Soccer Sisters Programme

As the camps will be girls only, it will give the participants an opportunity to participate amongst their peers. All of the coaches at the camps are FAI accredited, referenced and Garda vetted local clubs to ensure that girls wishing to continue playing have an option to do so.
