
This year's Umbro Women's FAI Under-16 Gaynor Cup will take place at Limerick University this weekend (June 29-July 1).
Thirteen leagues from all parts of the country will converge on the venue for three days of football culminating on Sunday.
The action gets underway on Friday afternoon with two games taking place at 2.30pm and six matches scheduled for 6pm.
This event is an integral part of the assessment process for the Republic of Ireland international team coaches ahead of next season's Under-17 UEFA qualifying series.
A separate Gaynor Cup the Under-14 group was played in early June at the same venue when the Metropolitan Girls' League emerged victorious.
