The final of the FAI Umbro Women's Senior Challenge Cup for 2008 was played on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Richmond Park, Dublin.  St. Francis FC scored a dramatic added time win over local rivals Peamount United after an absorbing final.

FINAL

The final of the competition produced a dramatic and exciting contest with St, Francis having to come from a goal down to overtake and then defeat their Dublin rivals, Peamount United. Victory was not secured until the second minute of added time when Mary Waldron converted a penalty.
