The Republic of Ireland squad trained this afternoon at the FAI National Training Centre in Abbotstown as preparations for Saturday game commenced.

Following the news last night that Martin O'Neill must plan without the injured Cyrus Christie, Stephen Ward, James McCarthy and Stephen Quinn from the provisional squad, the squad took to the training pitch with Eunan O'Kane and James McClean sitting out the session as a precaution.

Dundalk pair of Andy Boyle and Daryl Horgan took part in a light session due to the 120 minutes they played in Sunday's Irish Daily Mail FAI Cup Final. Republic of Ireland Assistant Manager Roy Keane faced the media following the training session to look ahead to the game against Austria. Watch what he had to say below.
