Irish Junior squad announced for Quadrangular Tournament
Republic of Ireland Junior international manager, Gerry Smith (pictured right) has announced a provisional 24 man squad for the International Quadrangular Tournament which includes Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. The tournament will be held in Co. Down from the April 21st - 24th.
The Republic of Ireland will hold a final training camp in Dundrum House, Co. Tipperary next weekend where Gerry Smith will pick his final 20 players for the competition. Included in the provisional squad are a number of stars of this year's FAI Umbro Junior Cup such as Carrick United's Adrian Walsh, Michael Coady and Wayne Fitzgerald.
Meanwhile, Limerick's Fairview Rangers secured their place in this year's FAI Umbro Junior Cup with victory over local rivals, Regional United. They will now play either Clonmel Town, Pike Rover's or St. Michael's FC from Co. Tipperary in the final.
