Ireland U15: Poland win the first of back-to-back friendlies

The Republic of Ireland Under 15s lost 2-0 to Poland in a friendly today at Home Farm FC. The game was the first of two friendlies to take place this week in the north Dublin venue.

The away side led 2-0 at the break, but could have scored a third before the break only for a fine save from goalkeeper Patrick McGarvey.

Head coach Jason Donohue used all 19 players at his disposal, with eight players coming on as substitutes in the second half.

The second friendly between the two sides takes place on Thursday at Home Farm. Kick-off is at 1pm and admission is free to all.
