Conor Henderson makes loan move to Coventry
CONOR HENDERSON has joined Coventry City in a three-month loan deal.
Henderson, 21, will link up with his Ireland under-21 colleague Adam Barton at the Ricoh Arena.
The League One side moved to bring Henderson to the club from Arsenal where the midfielder made his first team debut in the 2011 FA Cup before suffering a knee injury that kept him out for the majority of last term.
"In Conor we have a very clever, intelligent midfield player with a wand of a left foot in the mould of players like Michael Carrick and Chris Brunt who's desperate to play and hungry for it," said new Coventry boss Mark Robins.
Henderson scored a stunning goal that became a Youtube sensation in the Irish U21 team's recent 4-2 defeat of Italy in Casarano.
