Shane Duffy signs contract extension at Everton
EVERTON have confirmed that Shane Duffy has agreed a new three-year deal with the club.
The Republic of Ireland under-21 international defender today put pen to paper to stay at Goodison Park until 2015.
Duffy, 20, has just returned from playing against Hungary with Noel King's side in Kecskemet last Thursday.
The Derry native made his Premier League debut for the Toffees last season and made four subsequent appearances for David Moyes' side.
Duffy told evertontv: "I'm delighted to get it done. It's taken a bit of time to get it sorted but I am happy now.
"I have been here for a while now and loved every minute of it. Now this is sorted I can focus on working hard and continuing to improve."
