Trapattoni names 23 man squad to face Germany and Faroe Islands in FIFA 2014World Cup Qualifiers

Giovanni Trapattoni today (Wednesday, September 26) announced a 23 man squad to face Germany and Faroe Islands in FIFA Group C 2014 World Cup qualification matches against Germany (October 12 in Aviva Stadium) and the Faroe Islands (October 16 in Torshavn). Speaking today in Dublin, the Republic of Ireland manager said, "As we face these important games, we will hope to build on the three points we gained in Kazakhstan. Our first game against Germany will be a difficult challenge and the home support will play an important part. We must also remember that we have two matches, and we will be focussing on every detail to pick up points on our journey to qualification for Brazil.” 

Note: There are a limited number of tickets remaining for the FIFA 2014 World Cup Qualifier between the Republic of Ireland and Germany on October 12 in Aviva Stadium consisting of general admission and premium tickets. The remainder have been reserved for season ticket holders. Fans can purchase a season ticket for seven matches with prices beginning at €60 for kids, €109 for Students and €159 for adults. Installment plan also available.
